While television actress Shweta Tiwari is popularly known for her iconic roles as Prerna Bajaj in Kasauti Zindagi Kay and Begusarai, not many know that she is an avid reader and picks up a book whenever she has little time on her hands. A self-confessed bibliophile, she reads books during free time at home, between breaks at shoots, while travelling and any other team she can. In an interview she shares, "Whenever I get time on sets, I like to go to my room and pick up the book I'm reading, instead of idle gossip with others. I even tell my co-stars to engage in reading, and all genres work". She even takes recommendation from her daughter Palak on what to read.
